U. S. ArmyAndy served January 20, 1943 through October 4, 1945. He saw thirty three months service in the infantry. Five months were on the front lines near St. Lo and Nancy France. He remembers carrying a wounded soldier from a burning building and often wonders if the young guy made it home.
